Maxwell came into our lives in February 2007. He was born Feb 17, 2007 into a family that lives down the road and around the corner from us. One day their daughter and two neighbor girls were visiting and asked if we wanted a puppy. Gene and I looked at each other and said yes. The girls took off on their ATV and soon returned with a little puppy all bundled up inside one of their coats and put him in my arms. I looked into his eyes and knew he was supposed to be with us. "His name is Maxwell" I said as I snuggled him into my arms.
