Chigger Hill Spring 2001
Mar 10, 2001
Our first live Christmas tree finally made the trip to Chigger Hill to be planted.
It joins the cedar trees along the property line near the gate as a wind break and privacy screen.
The tulips and crocus are starting to come up.
The plumbing is finished for the sink; and I've got a good place to wash dishes.
The sleeping area and bathroom are as done as they're going to get; and you sure can't take flash
pictures toward mirrors.
And when we figure out what we want to do with the rest of the kitchen area and lights, we'll be
done inside.
Mid April, my first flower bed is blooming,
And so are the few extra tulips I planted in the woods and the redbuds.
Late April; and the buldozer has finally been here.
The three big mounds of dirt across from the garage doors have
been leveled to make a place to move the old aframe cabin to.
,,,,,, the dirt filled in behind the retaining wall ........
..... and the brush cleared out all the way to the gate.
They even got rid of the stumps in the valley to make it easier to keep it cut.
